Order Summary

Order Summary displays the total number of pending orders currently on the KDS.
It helps users to compress the total orders into a brief summary.
Click the Order Summary as highlighted below.

Users can toggle between order summary by order or category.

Order Summary by Order
Show a list of consolidated orders and their quantity. If the kitchen prepares them in bulk, this would be useful.

Order Summary by Category
Show the number of pending orders in each category, allowing the kitchen to have a quick glance of which department is the busiest.
